The term “Linkedbooking”, “we”, “us” or “our” refers to Linkedbooking Inc., a company incorporated in California, United States.

Introduction

Trust is the foundation of the Linkedbooking platform. All the information from your Linkedbooking powered site is 100% owned by you. In our mission to improve our product or services for your benefit, we carefully collect your information about

  • * Hosts use Linkedbooking
  • * Images and contents uploaded by users using Linkedbooking
  • * Guests who login to Linkedbooking-powered website.
  • * Visitors to Linkedbooking’s websites, or anyone contacting Linkedbooking support

Information we collect

Information we collect includes:

  • * Internet or other electronic network activity information. Including information regarding the device and browser you use, your IP address
  • * Identity Verification Information. If you are a guest and provide government-issued ID to your host, your host may use and store your ID information to verify your identity for security purposes. If you a host and a copy of your government-issued ID is provided to us, we may scan, use, and store information contained in your ID to verify your identity and for security purposes.
  • * Background Information. For Linkedbooking users in the United States, to the extent permitted by applicable laws, we may obtain information about you and/or your background, such as reports of criminal records, sex offender registrations, and other information. For Linkedbooking users in other countries, to the extent permitted by applicable laws, we may require you to provide your full name and date of birth, to perform criminal background checks, registered sex offender checks or other checks necessary for security purpose.
  • * Other Sources. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we may collect additional information about you, such as demographic data, to help detect fraud and safety issues from third-party service providers and/or partners. For example, we may receive background check results or fraud warnings from identity verification service providers for use in our fraud prevention, security investigation, and risk assessment efforts. We may receive information about you and your activities on and off the Linkedbooking platform, or about your experiences and interactions from our partners. We may receive health information, including but not limited to, health information related to contagious diseases.
  • * Other Information.
    • Post to Linkedbooking community forums
    • Communication between you and Linkedbooking support
    • Your account access credentials
    • Your device’s precise location
    • Payment transaction information. Such as payment instrument used, date and time, payment amount, PayPal or Stripe email address, and other related transaction details

Social Login

Social login, such as Facebook and Google logins, provides a convenient way for your guests to access your linkedbooking-powered website. You may be able to collect guest’s email and social media public profile depending on permissions guest has granted. If you are a host and choose to use Facebook or Google login to authenticate your guest, you have to provide user data deletion instructions according to Facebook or Google policy and Consumers’ “Right to Delete” under Privacy Laws. If you are a guest and want to delete your personal data, please contact your host. If you are a host, please follow the Instruction to delete your guest’s personal data.

Use of your information

We process the information solely to provide better service to Linkedbooking users, including

  • * Enable Linkedbooking users to use Linkedbooking product.
  • * Analyze, debug Linkedbooking platform to improve product and features.
  • * Provide customer service training.
  • * Send you messages, account notifications
  • * Fraud detection and prevention, security investigations, and risk assessments.
  • * Comply with law and our legal obligations, respond to legal requests, prevent harm, and protect our rights
  • * We may share your information with third-party service providers to help us run our business and for their compliance purposes, including those that help us: (i) verify your identity or authenticate your identification documents, (ii) conduct background checks, fraud prevention, security investigations, and risk assessments (iii) allow the provision of the Airbnb Services through third-party platforms and software tools (e.g., through the integration with our APIs), (iv) provide customer service, advertising, or payments services

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 16 and Linkedbooking has no actual knowledge of the sale of information of minors under 16 years of age. To provide you with our service, Linkedbooking may use third-party services, such as cloud hosting, content delivery, data analysis, internal logging, email transmission, identify verification, etc. Linkedbooking may also contain links to other websites of interest. Linkedbooking do not have any control over the service, content and/or links that appear on these third parties or websites, and are not responsible for the practices employed by these third parties and/or websites. Therefore, Linkedbooking cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide whilst using these third party services and/or visiting the websites, and these third parties and/or websites are not governed by this privacy statement. You should exercise caution and look at the privacy statement applicable to these third parties and/or websites in question. Your use of these third-party services is subject to the privacy policies of those providers, including Google Maps/Earth, PayPal, Stripe, etc.

Complying with Law, Responding to Legal Requests

Where legally required or permissible according to applicable law, we may disclose Hosts’ and/or Guests’ information to courts, law enforcement governmental or public authorities, tax authorities and other government agencies and/or authorized third parties to comply with law and our legal obligations, respond to legal requests, prevent harm, and protect our rights.

In jurisdictions where vacation rental business requires a registration, notification, permit, or license application or number of a Host with a governmental authority, we may require you to provide and share required information with the relevant authority, both during the application process, when the linkedbooking-powered website is under operation, and periodically thereafter.

Data Erasure

If you are a host operating a Linkedbooking-powered website, we keep your personal information to provide Linkedbooking services and/or comply with legal obligations. If your account is suspended, terminated, or voluntarily closed, we retain information for two years before we begin the deletion process. You can request to have your personal information deleted by sending email to [email protected]. Please note that if you request deletion of your personal information.

  • * We may retain some of your personal information as necessary to comply with law and our legal obligations, respond to legal requests, prevent fraud and harm, and protect our rights.
  • * Information you have shared with others (e.g., Reviews, forum postings) may continue to be publicly visible on Linkedbooking, even after your Linkedbooking account has been closed.

If you are a guest, when you visit or make a reservation from a host’s Linkedbooking-powered website, we act as a service provider or processor for the host, and the host, not Linkedbooking, decides how long your information is retained. If you want to delete your personal information, please contact the specific host directly. If you make a request to us, we will forward your request to the relevant host. For host operating Linkedbooking-powered website, please follow the instruction to delete your guest’s personal data

Business Transfers

If Linkedbooking undertakes or is involved in any merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or insolvency event, then we may sell, transfer, or share some or all of our assets, including your information in connection with such transaction or in contemplation of such transaction (e.g., due diligence).

CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time in accordance with applicable law. If we do so, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top. Your continued access to or use of the Linkedbooking Service will be subject to the revised Privacy Policy. If you disagree with the revised Privacy Policy, you can cancel your Account.
